This recognises and celebrates the achievers of vocational awards across all areas, and raises the awareness of these wonderfully diverse qualifications.

Our second Celebration Evening for 2008 has now been confirmed for
Wednesday 12th November at;
The Sultan's Palace, Victoria Street, Liverpool city centre.
All achievers from this year are invited, and we would ask that you
confirm your attendance with your assessor as soon as possible,
as places will be limited this year.

and we will look forward to the usual night of celebration including drinks,
snacks, music, presentations, photo opportunities, special guests etc.

We have now confirmed the details for our 'Capital of Culture' Celebration Evening.
It is to be held at the NOIR Club in Victoria St, Liverpool City Centre, on Friday 8th February 2008.
All the invites are currently being organised, and if you are an achiever from any time between
October 2006 - December 2007, expect yours in the post soon.
As ever, the evening will be a mixture of celebration, drinks, refreshments,
music and entertainment and possibly some surprise guests.
We very much look forward to seeing you all there.

The 'Introduce a Friend' initiative has proved so popular with our learners,
that we have INCREASED the amount of money now up for grabs.

We are starting the new year on a real high by relaunching our 'Introduce a Friend' initiative.
For every new person that you introduce onto an apprenticeship with us, you get a cash reward.
(The only stipulation is that they must remain with us for a minimum of 8 weeks, before you get paid).

Well, the Celebration Evening was a runaway success!
The evening began with a speech from our Managing Director, who then introduced our special guest star -
local legend Mr. Jimmy McGovern. The presentations went smoothly, and afterwards we all danced the night away to the disco and live music. The food was plentiful, the drinks were free, and the atmosphere was fun & friendly.

Wednesday 2nd August we will be at the MARRIOT Hotel in Speke, Liverpool.
We will be exhibiting at the Retail Federation breakfast forum, which has been organised
in order to help prepare local businesses for the Capital of Culture, along with
the additional staffing / training / preparation issues that this brings.
There will be various short presentations and talks at this event by the experts, as well as
the opportunity to meet some local training providers (including us!) and take advantage of our knowledge & expertise.
Tea, coffee & light refreshments will also be served.
The event runs from 7.30am - 10.00am, so DON'T MISS OUT - IT'S YOUR CAPITAL OF CULTURE TOO!

Here, we are interested in speaking to any young people who are looking for a work placement, with a view to doing an apprenticeship and progressing into full or part time employment.

We are currently looking to set up some 1 day health & safety training sessions for our existing clients.
We understand that this is an ongoing concern for many companies, and as such feel that we can offer some friendly advice.
These sessions will consist of basic health & safety information, updating and awareness.
Tickets for these sessions are provisionally priced at £40 per person.
The venue will be Liverpool Cricket Club on Aigburth Road, and the ticket price includes refreshments and a buffet lunch.

This is of particular benefit to our learners, who now have instantaneous access to their assessor along with all of the help, support and expertise that this brings.

Have you seen our feature in the local 'L2O Zone' newsletter?
We have recently been the focus of an article within the newsletter due to our success with the Sefton 'Higher Workforce' initiative,
which specifically targets the 'over 25 and employed' people in the area who are looking to complete an NVQ.
The initiative is funded by European Social Fund money, which means no cost to the learners.
To date we have had achievers across a range of different subjects including;
Customer Services, Administration, Performing Manufacturing Operations and Distribution & Warehousing Operations.
