EMPLOYER INFO

As an established Greater Merseyside training provider, we have continually enjoyed success across all of our programmes since 1996, throughout the Greater Merseyside area.

PROGRAMMES

We offer valuable work based training & development for all of your team, including a wide range of NVQ & Apprenticeship programmes.

CONTENTS

Each Apprenticeship ‘package’ consists of;

An NVQ at level 2, 3 or 4 where applicable (depending on the learner’s job role, capabilities and knowledge).

Key / Functional Skills (Communication, Numeracy & ICT)

A Technical Certificate (covering the underpinning knowledge within each skill area).

TIMESCALE

Each Apprenticeship takes approximately 6 months to complete at level 2, and 12 months to complete at level 3.

Achievement takes place at the pace of the learner rather than the assessor, and so these timescales are flexible.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

The learner is visited in their workplace regularly by their personal assessor. Each visit lasts approximately one hour, and includes;

An update covering what has happened since the last visit.

Actual ‘on the job’ assessments (observations, discussions, evidence gathering & portfolio building).
A plan identifying what is required for the next visit.

Any guidance & support that is requested / required by the learner.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This depends on the programme that the learner wishes to follow.

We do, however, require a time commitment from both the learner and the employer.

WHEN DO THE NVQ / APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMMES START?

They start when you want them to. We are not bound by any term times etc, our courses are ‘roll on – roll off’ as required.

‘Excellent partnership working is highly effective in meeting the needs of learners and employers.’

‘Assessment is very good. It is flexible, highly responsive and carried out frequently.’
